Prayer February 25
The First Presbyterian Church
was the host church for t.ho
World Day of Prayer as it was
observed here last Friday.
Christian Women throughout
the world form a prayer chain
each year on the first Friday in
Lent.
The church was open all day
for any who wished to enter
for private meditation.
The World Theme "You Are
My Witness" program began at
2:30 p. m. with Mrs. James
Bailey program leader Mrs. E.
E. Lindemann devotional lead-
er and Mrs. Loraine Horton

In Clifton Saturday
Mrs. Bob Bunker was honor-
ed with a miscellaneous shower
in Clifton at the Fellowship Hall
ot the 'irst Methodist Church
last Saturday night.
