Boys Try to Please
Miss Hi filer Miss
Hi filer is I’leased
Did you, too. notice how nice
all the boys in English IIIB class
looked Thursday afternoon?
An afternoon or tv- previous
to that memorable day, Miss
Rlgler made the remark that she
thought boys who wore ties
looked ever so much better than
those who did not. Then she
commented on the fact that on
that only two boys In that class
wore ties.
On Thursday, the boys decided
to show Miss Rlgler thut they
really did have ties, for all but
five of them wore tics to school.
It In to be remembered thut
Thursday was an especially hot
duy.
When interviewed, Miss Rlgler
said, "I am gratified to know
that the boys think enough of self
opinion to heed my wishes Uks
that. I think they are to ho
congratulated.”
Jack Knox said, "I’m going to
wear this tie ail day even if it
kills me."
J. C. Vaughn said, "AH hogs
who did not wear ties should
be ducked.”
On ihe whole, it was a rather
successful experiment.

GAMF SPECTATORS
Did you see those basketball
i games last, Wednesday night?
Well, if you did not, you really
missed something because every-
one thought the girls would eRa.
The boys wore boxing gloves and
played according to girls rules,
but still they won. The Junior
boys defeated the senior ghrln
with a score of 2ft to 11. Then
the senior boys turned areend
and trounced the Junior girls
by the score of 2B to 11. I think
the boys framed the girls; any-
way they had the same scare.
You people who missed theee
games missed more fun than yen
will ever have.
