HEAVY DAMAGE
This 1999 Chevrolet Camaro was
involved in a accident Tuesday at
the intersection of Southwest Av-
enue C and Southwest 3rd Street.
Although the vehicle was heavily
damaged, no injuries were reported
to the driver or to the occupants of
the van which it struck.

Several Gaines County
4-H’ers participated in several
steer, lamb, goat and swine shows
across the state this year.
The season started at the
Odessa Sandhills Livestock Show
in January and the Austin Star of
Texas Livestock Show ended it in
March.
In Fort Worth, Camille
Carter was fourth in swine; Rachel
Lindsey was fourth with a Fine-
wool Cross lamb and 7th with a
Southdown lamb; Addison Upton
had an 11th place steer; Chelsea
Hughes had an 11th place steer;
Collin Long finished fifth with his
steer; Hadley Mann had a third
place steer; and Colby Mann had
at fifth place Steer.
San Antonio results were,
steer; Addison Upton, eighth
Brangus steer; Kory Todd, third
AOB steer; Hadley Mann, fifth
Charolais steer; Colby Mann,
third Hereford steer; Jonathan
Royston, 2nd swine; Cameron
Foote, third swine; and Chelsea
