Lawhon-Keiser
Engagement Told
Charles and Sherry Lawhon, of Tolar,
announce the engagement and ap-
proaching marriage of their daughter,
Tammy Gail Lawhon, of Tolar, to John
Stephen Keiser, of Archer City. He is
the son of Thomas and Bernadette
Keiser, of Archer City. The bride-elect
graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tar-
leton State University with majors in
management and general business. She
is employed by Carlton Temporary
Services in Houston. The future groom
received a master’s degree in business
administration from Tarleton State Uni-
versity and is a cost accounting manager
for Powell Industries in Houston. A
Saturday, October 15,1994 wedding is
planned at the First Baptist Church in
Granbury.
Carr-Keck
Repeat Nuptials
Dr. Sara Keck and Lt. David Carr were
married June 25,1994, in Berry Memo-
rial Chapel, Ouachita Baptist College,
Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Rev. Kathy
Ulrich officiated.
Parents of the couple are Mrs. Veba
Keck and the late Wayland Keck of
Rogers, Arkansas; and Mr. and Mrs.
Carlton Carr of Lakeside City.
Ouida Keck was matron of honor for
her sister-in-law, and the bride was es-
corted by her brother, George Keck.
Tony Buzbee was best man, and Pat
Patalino was usher. Mr. and Mrs.
George Keck gave the reception in their
home in Arkadelphia, and the groom's
parents gave the rehearsal dinner at
Shaw's Gardens, Arkadelphia.
The bride is a graduate of the Univer-
sity of Arkansas, the University of
Colorado, and Columbia University.
She is a professor at Pace University in
New York City.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Holli-
day High School and Texas A&M Uni-
versity. He is in the Marine Corps and is
stationed at Camp Pendleton, Califor-
nia.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to
Spain and Portugal.

Mike and Kenda Castles were honored
with a "Surprise" 25th Anniversary
party on Wednesday, August 17th, at
the Cottage Tea House, in Archer City.
Twenty-six friends and family mem-
bers attended this celebration.

Doug Smith; Mr. and Mrs. Pat Cowan;
