week-end event is the 15th year
for the Annual Benefit Pro-
gram for the Central Texas
Area Museum.
Well arranged displays de-
pict seven exciting eras of
Texas history the items dis-
played are highlighted by a
liostess in costume. The small
limestone buildng is an interest-
ing structure.
Vistors will see an unusually
good art exhibit on the second
floor of the museum. Painters
will bo painting the colorful
landscapes.
The student the scholar and
the preservationist will learn
and enjoy the well-guided tour
through the two homes that
always contribute to the mus
cumthe Sterling C. Robertson
two-day affair or a fast-moving
one day from 9 to 12 and 1 to
4:30 p. m. The pilgrimage and
other programs have been the
backbone of the financial struc-
ture of the Area Museum. Pro-
ceeds have bought the building
ill lots surrounding it and have
built up a fund in the amount
of $00000 toward the erection
of a new addition. Donations
go to the building fund of the
museum;

The Germania Farm Mu-
tual Aid Association No. 5 of
Bartlett will meet Friday
April 10th. at the Bartlett
General Educational Devel
opment (G.E.D.) tests will be
administered at Taylor High
School beginning at 9 a. m.
Saturday April 20th. These
are the tests that give people
who have not finished high
school an opportunity to earn
a high school equivalency cer-
tificate. Those interested in taking
the tests may contact Mrs.
(Frances Lee at 352-G32G.
