Won By “A" Boys
The Wildcats of A. C. H. S, ,
having one of their better sea-
sons this year, have gone into
eight games and have come out
with four victories thus far in
the 1956-57 basketball season.
Coach Ray Coe and his cagers
have attended the Seymour and
Chilicothe tournaments. In the
latter they won the consolation
trophy. The trophy was the
first that has been won here in
a long time.

The Sophomore Christmas party
was held in the school cafeteria
on December 17. The group played
Lotto while the guests arrived.
The room mothers served a delic-
ious meal to the class and guests.
After the meal the class played
several games. The *' Christmas
tree and presents were taken
to needy children after the pa?ty.
Freshmen Parly
Very 5uccessfuI
The Freshman Class had their
Christmas party in the new gym.
It was a big success. All of
the class was present except for
three people. We played games,
had refreshments, and then open-
ed our gifts , Mr. and Mrs .
Davis, Mrs. Barton, Mrs. McMur-
try, and Mrs. Thurlkill were the
chaperones.
Progressive Dinner
The Senior Class had a pro-
gressive Christmas party. The
party began at Mr. Coe’s house
where names were drawn for the
car you were to ride in. Then
from Mr. Coe’s everyone dashed
to Mrs. George Campbell’s house
where appetizers of tomato juice
and orange juice were served .
Names were drawn again for the
cars you were to ride in to Mrs .
Horany’s where congealed salads
were enjoyed. Frcm Mrs. Horanyfe
the class rushed to Mrs. Young’s
for a very delicious dinner of
turkey and dressing, scalloped
potatoes, English peas, rolls
and butter, and relishes. Des-
serts of pecan pie, coffee, and
milk were enjoyed at the home of
Mrs. Linscott, The Christmas
tree was at Mrs. Slack’s where
punch and cookies were served .
Everyone enjoyed the party very
much and thank the Mothers for
making it a success.
CHRISTMAS IN OLD GYM
TOR JRS
The Juniors enjoyed a very
nice Christmas party in the old
gym Monday night. The gym
looked very "Chri.s tmasy" with
green and white- pap^r around
mistletoe. We played sever':]
games and sang Christmas carols,
Wayne Eckstirle led the song*
"Rudolph the Red Nose Reindper."
We were served cookies, candy,
sandwiches, and drinks by the
room mothersf Gifts were ex-
changed ,
