Miss Susan Lane McBay be-
came the bride of Geral Wayne
Fauss in a double ring cere-
mony Saturday afternoon June
29th in the First United Meth-
odist Church of Bartlett.
Parents of the bride are Mr.
and Mrs. Thomas H. McBay of
Bartlctt. The groom's parents
are Mr. and Mrs. 0. L. Fauss of
Houston.
Officiating at the ceremony
was Minister Noel Grisham
minister of the Bartlett-Church
of Christ. Music was provided
by Miss Nancy Guenzel who al-

ther the bride was attired in a
formal gown of silk organza
over peau tie soie featuring a
lace and seed pearl encrusted
sheer yolk high Victorian neck-
line lace covered Empire bodice
and bishop sleeves which ended
m lace cuffs nt the wrist. The
seed pearl and lace appliqued
skirt fell from soft gathers at
the back waistmo into a chapel
lontrth train. The neckline yolk
and hemline were edged with
Italian lace. Matching lace edg-
ed her three tiered veil of illu-
sion which fell from a coil of
matching lace and seed pearls.
The bride earned a bouquet ot
white carnations centered with
a white glamellia.
Miss Nancy Jane McBay at-
tended her sister as maid of
honor. Mrs. Cheryl Johnson
sister of the groom was matron
of honor. Thev wore matching
dresses of white crepe flocked
with pink and green flowers.
White gloves and wide brim-
med picture hats completed
thcif ensemble.

door reception was held at the
home of the bride's parents.

The bride is a graduate of
Snm Houston State University
and is now employed as an Eng
lish-Journalism teacher by tne
Cypress - Fairbanks Indepen-
dent School District. The bride
groom received both his Bache
lor's and Master s degrees irom
Sam Houston State University
and is presently employed as an
industrial arts instructor by the
Cypress-Fairbanks Independent
School District.
After a wdding trip to Aca-
pulco the couple will make their
home in Houston.

Celebration
Fun is in store for the entire
family during Toylor Indepen-
dence Festival Days which are
scheduled for July 4 5 and
Gth.
Most of the three days activi-
ties will be held at some loca-
tion in Murphy Park unless
otherwise shown. Exact loca-
tions may be found by inquir
ing at the information booth at
the North entrance of the park.

Hundred of Free Events for the

A big colorful parade is sch
eduled to begin at 10:80 a. m.
Thursday It will begin on West
Second Street at Fowzor pro
ceeding north on Main St. to
Lake Drive and west to the City
Park where it will disband.

soring the Tiny-Tot Revue in
Taylor as a part of TIF Days on
July 4th.
The revue will be presented on
the old tennis courts east of the
American Legion Building at
4 p. m. according to the publi-
city chairman Mrs. Darvin Ka-
derka.
The young women are sched-
uling two divisions this year. In
the first division Tiny Miss and
Tiny Master will bo named and
in the second group Little Miss
and Little Master.
