of the county the last few days and
find the flea in every patch That wc
have inspected.
Now if we 1st this insoct get the
bottom c?8p and the boll weevil get
the top crop, where wiH we get a
cotton crop. A few have already
started fighting the psst and are Hav-
ing good success. On# farmer in the
Western part of the county has put
on two applications of the Flower of
Sulphur and now h« ha* a young
crop of square* that have formed in
the last few days. He figures that it
will emit him *1.00 per acre to con-
trol the flea. If you can save your
cotton for * 1,00 per acre, we think
it will b* * good investment to put
out the Sulphur for the fleas.
If you arc going to fight the In-
sects, dffh*t wait for them to get the
larger part of your crop before you
start. We will be glad to help you
get sulphur and duster* to put it out
with.
If your cotton Is not putting on
forms, you better look out for the
flea, for there 1* plenty, of them in
the county and it is not the wet wea-
ther that is knocking off the small
squares. Check up on your field and
if you are not sure, call the county
agent or some one that has had «*-
