HASH 'N EGGS
...In crisp, golden nippy-cheese crust?
Make pastry for one 9" crust, roll
thin and sprinkle with % cup shred-
ded sharp cheese. Dot with 1 tbsp.
butter. Roll crust, line pie-plate,
making high fluted edge.
Fill with well-seasoned beef hash...
(finely chopped beefKcooked pota-
toes, onions, celery, and a. dash of
Worcestershire Sauce)... and bake
in 450° oven, 12 to 15 minutes ’til
crust is lightly browned.
Reduce oven to §50°, bake 15 min-
utes. With spoon, make depression
in top of each serving of hash. Break
egg into each hollow-and return to
oven until eggwhites are set. Cut in
wedges and sejrve hot. 5 to 6 servings.
