A Million
Soil testing is breaking out all over Hopkins County as spring finally makes its long-await-
ed debut in Texas. Operation Soil Fertility is rolling again!
Many farmers got their soil samples collected before bad weather threw a block into the
program. They are learning now what they ha ve to work with in their soil and what they
i-'f f
need to make the most profits from their crops and pastures this year.
Farmers who didn't get in on the first round still have time to get the job done and be in
on the ground floor of the Operation Soil Fertility Program. Campaigns are under way in
the organized county communities to get a maximum numer of soil samples collected and
on their way to the laboratory in the immedi ate future. ...
Soil testing can be done at any time, of course, but with the growing season beginning to get
under way, the farmer who has his formula for Balanced Soil Fertility at the start of the
year will be far ahead of the field. He will KNOW what to do.
DON’T GUESS ... SOIL TEST ... NOW!
