State Fair of Texas
The State Fair management haB
availed itselfof the thirty days
gained by the postponement of the
opening dato from SeptemberUtTto
October 28 to secure a largo num-
ber of Buperb attractions turned
loose by tho cloBingot the northern
summer resortswhich could not be
had for our earlier dateB Many
great race horses which could not
be had until the cIobb of the grand
circuit and which were consequent-
ly out of reach for our earlier dates
have also entered for our later ones
In fact the postponement has en-
abled the management to increase
the exhibits and attractions by at
least a third in number and has
given exhibitors time to effect a
much more attractive arrungement
of their displays If we had twice
the hall and round space wo could
easily fill it with firstoiassnttrac
tions As it is however we have
by far the biggest and best com-
bined Fair Exposition and race
meeting ever given in the world
It is an entertainment of which the
peoplo of Dallas are justly proud
and to which they can enthusiasti-
cally invite their friends over the
southwest The city of Dallas
which now owns and runs the Fair
can not afford to invite the people
to a poor show
Tho Fair will open October 28
and close November 12 Thorail
road rates are the lowest ever made
