THE VOGT-CLEGG LOG CABINS IN BOERNE ... William and Ernestine Vogt built
the first log cabin room in 1860 and as their family grew, more cabin rooms were added.
Agnes and L. B. Clegg bought the cabins in 1919 and restored them. Kathryn Sawtelle now
owns the property and has applied for a Texas Historical Marker for the cabins.5
