KUHFUSS-SCHWEPPE HOUSE IN BOERNE ... Built in mid 1860's by William
Kuhfuss. He offered his house as the Kendall County Courthouse and Clerk's office for
$100.00 a year in 1868 - 69. His daughter, Ottilie, and her husband F. W. Schweppe lived
here from 1878 - 1896. Later, additions were made and the Bradshaws received recognition
for their restorations.6
