THE WASTED
PROMISE
During the coming Yuletide sea-
son one phrase will frequently , re-
sound, but its message goes urt-
heededa For nearly twenty cen-
turies its words have set a pat-
tern for mankind 11 s advancement
of civilization,. The »nly ob«*
stacle is manJs inability to ap-
ply the promise of the words to
reality; The piprra s e ? PEACE ON
EARTH, GOOD WILL TO MEN,
With each successive Christ-
mas the need for Peace on Earth
increases. Man now controls
forces powerful enough to wipe
out all life existing on this
planet if improperly use4.

whose birthday is observed each
Christmas, is often forgotten fey

Xmas is seen more sn d more fre-
