Changes to a downtown
building on West Main are
under way, and will result
in the covering of the mu-
ral on the wall facing the
gazebo.
Jan Williams, interim
coordinator fo the Olney
Chamber of Commerce,
said that the brands locat-
ed on the wall will be re-
painted once work is com-
plete.
The work is necessary
due to the condition of the
building, and the build-
ing’s new owner, Tom
Parker, told Williams that
he would be sure that the
brands were put back in
place as soon as possible
once the work is done.
Williams noted that in-
dividuals paid to have
brands painted on the wall
in 1999 or 2000, when the
mural on the same site was
completed. She also noted
that the Olney Chamber of
Commerce does still have
a record of those brands so
they can be accurately re-
painted on the building in
the near future.

cerns call the Chamber of
Commerce at (940) 564-
