this morning from Senator A. B.
Davidson at Austin;advises of the
appointment of Wallace Baker to
the position of district attorney of
the Thirty-eighth judicial district
of Texas made vacant by the resig-
nation of J. R. Storins of Bandera.
There were four, applicants for
the place. Clark oFBoerne, Morris
of Renville, Moutegue of Bandera
and Baker of Hoiido^ everyone

best of backing, but the old Cuero
