Mrs. Minnie Carter Dies
Tuesday In Sherman
Mrs. Minnie Morrow Carter, 72,
died Tuesday night in a Sherman
hospital. Funeral services are set
for 2 p.m. today at First Baptist
Church with the pastor, Rev.
Claude Cole, and Rev. Roy Cloudt
of Denison officiating. Burial will
be in Van Alstyne Cemetery under
direction of Flesher Funeral Home
Mrs. Carter had been a resident
of Howe since 1901. She was bom
May 8, 1894 in Kentucky, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Lee P. Morrow.
Survivors are her husband, W.
F. Carter of Howe; three sons.
Cleo of Pottsboro, Col. Harold W.
of Alexandria, Va., and Roamer
of San Diego; one daughter, Mrs.
Vincent Murphy of Wichita Falls;
three brothers, Clyde of Sherman,
Roamer of Raymondsville, and
Clayton Morrow of Arkansas; 3
sisters, Mrs. Perry Flowers of
Kansas, Mrs. Paschall Skipworth
of Denison and Mrs. Harley Coen
of Dallas; eight grandchildren and
five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Faulk-
ner, Knox Sprowl, L. B. England,
Ray Henderson, Mark Gee and
Glenn Hestand.
