A letter from W. H. Korges. for-
merly Superintendent of Aransas Pass
Schools and now acting in the same
capacity in the Eigin, Texas schools,
says:
“I am well satisfied and delighted
with my njew situation here. We
have one hundred fifty in high school;
thirty in the senior class; fine build-
ings and first class equipment; a
splendid set of people to work with
and to work for who appreciate what
is being done for them: a fine school
spirit and civic pride; a good live
Iviwanis club. The Masonic owns
two brick buildings — a two
story and a three-story brick building
The Methodist church is a fine brick
building with a pipe organ and a
Starr piano. The Sunday School
building is a two-story brick annex
provided with an abundance of equip-
ment and two pianos) We have an
orchestra for Sunday School. There
were sixty-two in the Wesley Bible
Glass last Sunday besides ten in the
Men’s class and about ten or more in
the Ladies’ Adult class. This town
certainly has a large number of young
people who attend college.’’
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Ward, of Wes-
laco, Tex., arrived Wednesday and
are fixing up their neat home on
South Commercial street and DeBerry
avenue, with the view of returning
here to make their permanent home.

Always Stiff
and Achy?
Too Often This Warns of Sluggish
Kidney Action.
TAME? Stiff? Achy? Sure
I j your kidneys are working
right? Sluggish kidneys allow
Avaste poisons to remain in the
blood and are apt to make one
languid, tired and achy, with
often dull headaches, dizziness
and nagging backache. That
the kidneys are not acting
right is often shown by scanty
or burning secretions. If you
have reason to believe your
kidneys are acting sluggishly,
use Doan's Pills. Doan s
stimulate the kidneys and thus
assist in eliminating waste im-
purities. Users everywhere en-
dorse Doan’s. Ask your
neighbor!

share of fine linens and no maiden's
dowry was complete without a plen-
tiful supply of this aristocrat of

fabrics was well understood but
rUgs were left to a later day when
