Junior Music Clubs of the Fifth
District of Texas, express our
heartfelt thanks to the follow-
ing for their participation in
making this Festival the suc-

Be it ordered by the Board
of Trustees of Boerne County
Line Independent School Dis-
trict that an Election be held at
the Grammar School in the City
of Boerne, in Boerne County
Line Independent School Dis-
trict on the 7th day of April,
1951, for the purpose of electing
SEVEN School Trustees for
said Boerne County Line Inde-
pendent School District.
Mrs. Ella Massey is hereby
appointed Manager of said Elec-
tion, and . she shall appoint two
judges and two clerks to assist
her in holding the same, and
said election shall be held in the
manner prescribed by low for
holding other elections.
The return of said election
shall be made to the Board of
Trustees of said Boerne County
Line Independent School Dis-
trict in accordance with the law
A copy of this Order, signed
by the President and attested
by the Secretary of the Board
shall serve as proper notice of
said election to be given in ac-
cordance with the law.

HERBERT DIENGER
PASSES AWAY
Herbert Dienger was born in
Boerne in 1898 and died sudden-
ly of a heart attack at his home
in San Antonio March 2nd.
He married Odiele Schwet-
helm in 1927. To this union
were born two sons, Herbert,
who is in the U. S. Air Force,
stationed at Langley Field, Va.,
and Carl, a student in Thomas
Jefferson High School:- Other
survivors are his mother, Mrs.
Joe Dienger of Boerne, and two
sisters, Mrs. H. J. Vogt of San
Antonio and Mrs. Ed Heiser of
Boerne.
He was an ardent outdoor
sportsman, hunting and fishing-
being his hobbies.' He played
for a number of years on the
Boerne White Sox baseball
team and was rated as on of the
top bowlers in this section. Dur-
ing 1917 and 1918 he was em-
ployed in the San Antonio and
also the Camp Travis post of-
fices. He returned to Boerne
in 1920 and engaged in the gen-
eral mercantile business for sev-
eral years. For the past 25
years he has been the general
manager of the Mission Feed
Co. in San Antonio. He was a
member of the Hermann Sons
lodge of Boerne.
The many friends of Mr.
Dienger are grieved at his pass-
ing. The Star joins these
many friends in extending sym-
pathy.

briefly with relatives and
friends.
Mrs. Kendall Ehman was
seen shopping in San Antonio
on Friday.
BOY SCOUT PARTY
At Scout house last Friday
evening, the boys entertained
with a hot dog party. Each
Scout brought one guest. A var-
iety of games were played and
hot dogs, potato chips, fritos,
cake and cold drinks were serv-
ed to about 78 people.
Guests included Mr. and Mrs.
Dyer, Mr. and Mrs. Gourley,
Mesdames Smith, Schmidt,
Moore, Kirschke and Young.
