end in San Antonio with Mr.

Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Krause,
Mr. and Mrs. George Kneupper
and Mrs. M. P. Lux made a
fishing trip to Port Lavaca, but
didn’t have any luck.
Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Krause
and daughters, Mrs. Emma Fis-
cher and son Edgar, were Sun-
day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wal-
ter Wengenroth.
Mrs. Edna Seewald of Austin
spent a few days with Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Haag.
Since there will be no Easter
dance, there will be a dance Sat-
urday, April 19 at Kendalia
Hall. A1 and His Highlanders
will play.

home March 20 were: Mr. and
Mrs. Emil Kneupper and dau-
ghters, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
Rust, Mrs. T. G. Edge and

UMPIRES SUNDAY
The San Antonio Independ-
ent Baseball Umpire Associa-
tion will have charge of the
Kerrville-Boerne game at Boer-
ne Sunday. They requested
that they be allowed to umpire
one ball game free of charge to
give the fans an example of
their work. Jake Sherrod, a
member of the association,
helped to make these arrange-
ments and will be one of the
umpires Sunday.

In o loosely played but hotly
contested game, Camp Stanley
defeated the Boerne White Sox
Sunday by the score of 7 to 6.
This was a practice game and
each team used several replace-
ments. Next Sunday, April 2,
Camp Stanley plays Voelkel’s of
San Antonio City League at
Camp Stanley. Come out and
enjoy the game.
