INGLESIDE CLEAN-UP DRIVE
UNDER SPONSORSHIP
OF WOMAN'S CLUB
A clean-up campaign designed
to improve health conditions and
lend attractiveness to the city
has been inaugurated in Ingle-
side under sponsorship of the In-
gleside Woman’s Club. Merchants
and the Ingleside Volunteer Fire
Department are aiding in the pro-
gram and the club is appealing
for co-operation from all resi-
dents. The clean-up will last from
May 12 through May 26.
Mrs. R. J. Holley is chairman of
the drive and will be assisted by
Mrs. Margaret Kilpatrick, trea-
surer and Mrs. Lily May Lock-
hart, secretary.
SENIORS RETURN FROM
HILL COUNTRY TRIP
Fifteen Ingleside seniors and
their chaperons returned Sunday
from Bandera wherfe they en-
joyed the senior week-end as
guests at the Joleta Dude Ranch.
The party reports a pleasant
time spent hiking, riding, swim-
ming picnicking and dancing at
the hill country report. In addi-
tion to the festivities enjoyed at
the guest ranch the party made
a trip through the Bandera Mu-
seum Saturday afternoon and at-
tended a rodeo and western dance
Saturday night.
While returning home Sunday
the party stopped over in San
Antonio for a few hours and
