but we don’t know what is
aa fair price for it. 'Would
a realtor, with his know-
ledge of current values,
probably ask and get a
higher price for us than we
would think to ask?

Mr. Frank Engel of Bergheim
was a visitor in Boerne. Mr.
Engel would be happy to have
the citizens of Boerne attend the
May Fest at Anhalt, May 18th.
Mollie Caulhoun, declaimer of
Boerne, evidently expected big-
ger things, when she remarked,
“Oh this is OK but Hollywood
would be more fun.”—San Mar-

GOOD CUSTOMER
A film actor, married and di-
vorced five times in three years,
came to the regi§trar with his
sixth bride. It was the same
registrar who had married the
actor on the previous occasions.
After the ceremony, the actor
reached into his wallet, but the
registrar waved the money aside.
“Not this time,” he said, “this
is on the house.”
DEAD LINE
“These flowers,” said the ho-
tel guest as he presented the
bouquet to the manager, “are
for the girls on your switch-
board.”
“Ah, how charming,” replied
the manager, “this is a compli-
ment to our service, no doubt?”
“Compliment, nuts!” snapped
the guest. “I thought they were
dead!”
