cats of Philadelphia will meet the
Baylor Bears at 8 P. M. in the
beautiful new Alamo Stadium.

Smith, the record at Villanova Is
29 wins, 4 defeats and 3 ties.
Villanova has plaved two games
already this year, one against Phi-
ladelphia last Friday night, Octo-
ber 11, winning by a 28 to 0 score
and one on October 5 against the
school’s traditional rival, Pennsyl-
vania Military College of Philadel-
phia. Villanova won against the
Military College by a 53 to 14
score,
Reports from Baylor indicate
that the hard hitting Bears are
pointing for the game with Villa-
nova as the toppling of Villanova,
an outstanding team year in and
year out, would be a real feather
in Baylor’s cap.

tered in the Milking Shorthorn Show at the 1940 State Fair of Texas,
Oct. 5 to 20.
Top is Kingsdale Pride, grand chmpion of the 1939 International Live-
stock Exposition at Chicago, and the United States All-American bull,
bred, owned and will be exhibited by Keith King of Victoria, Illinois.
Bottom is Duallyn Juniper, All-American 3 year old and the grand
champion at the National Dairy Show held at the Golden Gate Exposi- ,
tion at San Francisco. She has a record of 10,004 pounds of milk, and 1
437 pounds of butter fat as a two year old. She is owned by John B.
Gage, Mayor of Kansas City.
