the party above mentioned, led to the
discovery of the fishiuK grounds, some
four miles inland, almost on the bay

on the party revelled in fishing, and
what is meant, was they not only

Of course this four mile walk, across

water up to your neck and more often
getting small pieces of shell in your
shoes, then walking back about noon
when the sun was at its hottest, is
not what most people would call

But, dear reader, don’t you go to
Corpus Bass expecting to catch thou-
sands of pounds of fish right in the
Bass, and don’t go down there with
your Sunday best on, expecting to
sit in your cur and cast out into the
waters of the Pass for these said fish.
It just simply can’t be done. If you
are determined to go, carry along
some old clothes that you do not care
much about and a tent in which you
can hide and change into these fish-
ing togs. And be sure to carry along
plenty of fresh water, ice and eats,
The other cup is one given by the

“Aurora” (The Dawn), with a beauti-

We learn that Prof Ghavira expects
to have the composition copyrighted.
We hope it will receive the recogni-

Another thing very gratifying to the.
P.-T. A , is the fact, that in the recent
High School graduating cuts - were
four Mexican girls, Sofia Davila. L*-o-

and ambition conspired to make it
possible for these, our own girls, to
