TO THE RESIDENT QUALI-
FIED ELECTORS OF BOERNE
COUNTY-LINE INDEPENDENT
SCHOOL DISTRICT, WHO OWN
TAXABLE PROPERTY IN SAID
SCHOOL DISTRICT AND WHO
HAVE DULY RENDERED THE
SAME FOR TAXATION:
TAKE NOTICE that an election
will be held on the 18th day of Jan-
uary, 1964, within t he BOERNE
COUNTY-LINE INDEPENDENT
SCHOOL DISTRICT in obedience
to an order duly entered by the
Board of Trustees of said School
D;strict on the 3rd day of January,
1964, and which said order is made
a component part of this Notice,
and such order is in words and fig-
ures as follows, to-wit:
ORDER FOR BOND ELECTION

BOERNE COUNTY-LINE-INDE-
PENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT.
ON THIS the 3rd day of January,
1964, the Board of Trustees
BOERNE COUNTY-LINE INDE-
PENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
convened in special session at the
regular meeting place of said Board
in said District, with the following
members present and in attendance,
to-wit:
R. J. Calder, Jr., President
John C. Collins, Vice President
Harold S. Ranzau, Secretary
Walter Pfeiffer
Dr. G. C. Gremmel
Milton H. Hawkins
Trustees
and with the following absent:
Nickolas Koenig, constituting a
quorum; and among other pro-
ceedings had by said 'Roard of Trus-
tees were the following:
There came on to be considered
the petition of Milton H. Hawkins
and 36 others, asking that an elec-
tion be ordered upon the proposition
hereinafter stated; and
IT APPEARING TO THE satis-

able property in said District and
who each has rendered the same for
taxation, and that such petition is
otherwise in conformity With the
law, ths Board is of the opinion
that said petition should be grant-
ed and that said election as prayed
for should be ordered; therefore
BE IT ORDERED BY THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF BOER-
NE COUNTY-LINE INDEPEND-
ENT SCHOOL DISTRICT:
That an election be held in sa5d
BOERNE COUNTY-LINE INDE-
PENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT on
the 18th day of January, 1964,
which is not less than ten (10)
nor more than thirty (30) days
from the date of this order, at
which election, in accordance with
said petition, the following propo-
sition shall be submtted to the resi-
dent qualified electors and taxpay-
ing voters of BOERNE COUNTY-
LINE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT, who each owns taxable
property in said District and who
has duly rendered the same for tax-
ation, for their action thereupon;
“SHALL the Board of Trustees
of BOERNE COUNTY-LINE INDE-
PENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT of
of Kendall, Bexar and Comal Counties,
Texas, be authorized and empower-
ed to issue the bonds of said Dis-
trict in the amount of SIXTY
FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($65,000.00) to become due and pay-
able serially or otherwise in such
installments as may be fixed by
the Board of Trustees of said Dis-
trict, and to hear interest at a rate
not to exceed FOUR AND ONE-
HALF PER CENTUM (4-y2%) per
annum, payable annually or semi-
annually, for school building pur-
poses within the limits of said Dis-
trict, to-wit: the purchase, construc-
tion, repair or equipment of public
free school buildings and the pur-
chase of necessary sites therefor;
and shall the Board of Trustees of
said District be authorized to assess,
levy and collect annual ad valorem
taxes in an amount and at a rate
sufficient on each. $100.00 valuation
of taxable property to pay the in-
terest on and principal of such

THAT SAID ELECTION shall be
held at the ELEMENTARY SCHO-
OL CAFETERIA in the BOERNE
COUNTY-LINE INDEPENDENT
SCHOOL DISTRICT, and the offi-
cers of said election shall be as
follows:
Mr. Lester Lohmann, Presiding
Judge.
Mrs. Ella Massey, Judge
Mrs. Ida Grosser. Clerk
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED
that the ballots for said election
shall be prepared in sufficient num-
ber and in conformity with Chapter
6, V. A. T. C. S. Election Code, as
amended, and that printed on such
ballots shall appear the following
proposition:
“FOR THE ISSUANCE OF
BONDS AND THE LEVYING OF
THE TAX IN PAYMENT THERE-
OF”
“AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF
BONDS AND THE LEVYING OF
THE TAX IN PAYMENT THERE-
OF”
AS TO THE FOREGOING, each
voter shall mark out the statement
FOR the proposition or the state-
ment AGAINST the proposition so
that the statement remaining shall
indicate the way he wishes to vote
Irene K. Leidl is hereby appoint-
ed as Clerk, for ABSENTEE VOT-
ING at the election herein ordered
and absentee voting shall be con-
ducted at Boeme School Tax Of-
fice in the BOERNE COUNTY-
LINE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT, and said Clerk shall
keep the office open between the
hours of 8:00 a. m. and 5:00 p. m.
each day that is not a Saturday, a
Sunday, or an official State holiday,
all in accordance with the provis-
ions of Chapter 424, Acts of the
59th Legislature, Regular Session,
1963.
NONE but resident qualified elec-
tors, who own taxable property in
the BOERNE COUNTY-LINE IN-
DEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
and who have duly rendered the
same for taxation, shall be allow-
ed to vote at said election.
THE SECRETARY of this Board
of Trustees shall forthwith issue
notice of this election order and
the time and place of said election,
and said Secretary shall post a copy
of such notice at three public pla-
ces in the District for ten (10) days
prior to the date fixed for said elec-
tion. Immediately after said elec-
tion has been held, the officers hold-
ing the same shall make returns of
the results thereof to the Board of
Trustees of said School District and
return the ballot box to the Secre-
tary of said Board, who shall safe-
ly keep and deliver same, together
with the returns of said election to
the Board of Trustees at its next
regular or special meeting.
SAID ELECTION shall be heM
and conducted as provided by law
for general elections, except as mod-
ified by Chapter 13, Title 49 of the
1925 Texas Revised Civil Statutes
and amendments thereto; and this
Board will furnish all necessary
ballots and other election supplies
requisite to said election.
The above order having been read
in full, it was moved by Mr. Pfeif-
fer and seconded by Dr. Gremmel
that the same be passed. Thereupon,
the question being called for, the
following members of the Board
voted “AYE”: Messrs. Calder, Col-
lins, Ranzau, Pfeiffer, Gremmel and
Hawkins; and none voted “NO”.
PASSED AND APPROVED this
the 3rd day of January, 1964.

Airman Valero was trained to

gine jet aircraft and aircraft
systems.
The airman is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Pete Valero of Water
Street, Comfort, and is a grad-
uate of Comfort High School.
