What should have been an
evening of business turned into
an evening or "worm dancing"
as Alpha Delta Mu. chapter of
the Beta Sigma Phi, held a
dress rehearsal for the upcom-
ing area convention
Dressed in their green hood-
ed robes, the group wormed
then way through the home of
Jo Cashion Monday evening.
March 24
Neighbors probably
wondered why ever so often
they heard several female
voices shouting Tequila", and
if they chanced to glance into
the windows of the home they
were probably wondering even
more The rehearsal went well,
mostly.
At the business meeting, the
group voted to hack the Ronald
McDonald House in Houston as
a state project for 1980-81
The group decided not to join
the city council of the Beta
Sigma Phi groups in Corpus
Christi, but to offer to help in
any way tliey could if Corpus
Christi becomes host to the
state convention in 1982
The social committee
reported on the great time had
by the group when they met
Saturday, March 15, at Ayers
Bowling l^ines in Corpus
Christi for a night of bowling
Several members had dif-
ficulty in maintaining their
balance while throwing a ball
down the alley One even seem-
ed to be bowling ui the wrong
direction It is for sure the
bowling alley will never be the
same, a spokesman said
The next social will be an
Italian supper Saturday, April
12, at the home of Don and Deb-
bie Martindale
Favors for the Easter
Holidays will be delivered to
the Aransas Pass Nursing
Home Sunday, April 5.
Magaxines will also be
delivered to the State School in
Corpus C.irlsti on the same
day.
The next meeting of the
sorority will be Monday, April 7
