_______
and here's our reply:
Thanks ior your line latter, Mrs. Johnson. We're glad to
answer your question—tor it's one that a great many folks
have asked us this winter.
No, you're not being unpatriotic in any sense oi the word
when you use a supply oi gas entirely adequate to meet
your needs, ior it is your good fortune that there is an abun-
dance oi this fuel in the Texas Gulf Coast area.
It is true that our company has been called upon to serve
the tremendous demands oi army camps, naval training
stations, air fields and war industries—and their require-
ments daily receive our first consideration—but even so, we
still have enough natural gas in reserve to meet fully the
needs of our regular customers.
It would be decidedly unpatriotic, Mrs. Johnson. If you
wasted gas, but when it comes to heating your home prop-
erly as protection against illness, and executing your "home
front" household tasks in the most efficient manner, you're
doing the right thing in using all the gas you need.
J. P. Fast and daughter, Louise,
and Dave Fast were in Alice on

Mrs. Penny Langen accompanied

Houston Saturday for a few days’
visit.

were Kingsville visitors last Wed-
nesday. Miss Nagle took a civil ser-
vice examination for an aviation
mechanics Job.

day from Cleveland, Ohio, for an

parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. I. Howell.
