D. L. Smith of Malvern Arkan-
sas, and Miss Bonnie Mcjilfa'ry
were quietly married Saturday
evening and ieft Tuesday for the
home of Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith
is an industrious young man with
plenty of that element in him out
of which our foremost business
men are made, and is well con-
nected in his native state as well
as in our town. He is a brother
of Mrs. C. if M. Dudley and is
weH and favorably known here,
and has made many friends here1 w0^eif 8 ,ia^L ^U8,
by his manly conduct. Miss
Bonnie is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. J. M. McCrary; and has
been raised in Comanche and has
drawn about her a host of friends
by her lovable and sweet disposi-
tion. She is courteous, and kind
and ever meets her friends and
acquaintences with a pleasant
smile qnd greeting that inspires
the pure minded gentleman to a
higher respect, and by her femi-
nine modesty disarms those of
less appreciation of the nobilicy of
a pure mipd. When we crenacle
the marriage or other important
events of ther lives of such young
ladies as Miss Bonnie we are not
disposed to waste words about
the tafita ?ilk or fabrics she may
have worn on such an occassion
but look beyond such triVal mat-
ters and choosa from the great
flood of epithets which crowd the
gangala of our minds for utter-
