The Comanche Oarden Club
i met in regular session on Oct. 21
! with twenty-one members present.
In the business session, plans
for the Plower Show and Art Ex-
hibit to be held Oct. 27 were dis-
cussed and necessary committees
were appointed.
Mrs. E. E. Ar.tr.ony introduced
Miss Cearley, local Home Demon-
stration Agent, who brought a
number of interesting suggestions
and details concerning the project
of sponsoring 4-H Club girls gar-
dens and the show to follow,
Club members were asked to
bring small inexpensive gifts to
Higginbotham's store by Saturday
for the -men to the hospital at
Camp Bowie Six such gifts from
each member were requested.
Mrs R H. Dalton gave an in-
teresting talk on ‘ Marigolds."
The Judging of the hand-made
covers for the Year-Books was
postponed until the November
meeting.

at Lake Eanes. 3 miles south of
Comanche. AU brought well filled
baskets and had lots of fried chick-
en. Everyone seemed to have a
very enjoyable time.
