voters of Hamilton independent
School District last week approv-
ed a $150,000 bond Issue to erect
a new school building.

last week selected Jimmy Mar-
shall as athletic coach of Co-
manche High School.

Jimmy, a son of Mr. and Mrs
Joe Marshall of Comanche, is a
1932 graduate of Comanche High
School and a 1936 graduate of
Howaid Payne College.

Jimmy was a member of the
Comanche High School Indian
football team that won the re-
gional championship in 1931. Ho
was one of the best passers ever
to represent, the local star and
a star in every department of the
game. He increased his fame as
a Howard Payne player.
He successfully coached at Ste-
