GATESVILLE AND McGREGOR
Dr. John Tyler has secured the
services (in a few years) of a
lovely new Dentist’s assistant in
the person of his own sweet little
daughter, Jo Ann, who now only
weighs about six pounds, but she
will be just the right size to
“boss’’ the doctor iii a very
short while. Jo Ann arrived early
Wednesday morning at Hillcrest
hospital in Waco and she and her
M.ommie are doing fine. Congrat-
ulations, and thanks for the cigar,
Doc.
McGregor schools will have an-
other sweet dainty young Miss
to start in the first grade about
six years from now. She is Sherri
Lyn Bouldin, who arrived Sun-
day, March 21 and her proud
Mom and Dad are Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Bouldin. The maternal
grandmother is Mrs. John Hill-
ard, of Temple and the paternal
grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. E.
EU Bouldin of this city. The mo-
ther is' the former Miss Doris
Hillard of Temple.
According to Dr. Elmo King,
lie has treated several cases of
Blackleg among cattle lately in
the northeast part of the county.
Blackleg in cattle is almost sure
death to the animals unless im-
mediate treatment is given.
The Doctor said vaccinating
cinating against Blackleg has
against Blackleg has proven
very satisfactory and advises
cattle owners to use precaution
if they believe their cattle are
subject to the disease.
