is allowed to waste lKrause people fail to consider the
value of certain by-products of crops. One of these
is corn tops,. Corn tops, cut at the proper time makes
an excellent roughness for winter feeding.
The time to save your corn tops is now. Many
Kimble County farmers are already doing this, and all
should do it. Don’t think you will have too much
feed because we have a good crop year. Corn tops

Fire in Sutton County.
Two men and two boys were
arrested at the Six-mile Cross-
ing on North Llano Wednesday
afternoon by Sheriff Taylor, fol-
lowing a telephone call from the
Sheriff of Sutton County, stat-
ing t hat men suiting the de-
scription of the ones arrested,
had set fire to pasture land
along the road from Sonora to
Junction, beginning about eight
miles out of Sonora and contin-
uing for some ten or twelve
miles. We have been unable to
to learn tin* amount of pasture
land burned off.
Some one on the Allison ranch
saw the men in the car and were
able to get, a description of the
men and the car number, and
telephone it to the Sheriff at So-
nora. which enabled the Sheriff
here to make the arrest. The
men gave their names as Crouch
and Hutchen, and their address
as Austin.
