The annual Red Cross Drive
was scheduled to get underway
ln the City of Comanche early
Thursday morning, with Herbert
Qoodson heading the committee.
Ooodson Is taking the place of
N. N Durham wjio Is out of town
on business. Qoodson, a World
War II veteran. Is enthusiastic
about the work and reports he*
is receiving hearty co-operation.
He says he feels that almost every
citizen in Comanche will be anx-
ious to do his or her part In con-
tributing to this fund.
Two communities had already
reported Thursday morning as
having reached their Red Croat
drive quota, much to the gratifi-
cation of County Drive Chairman
Paul Whltton and Qeneral Coun-
ty Chairman Elzo Brinson, both
of whom have done much plan-
ning for the campaign.
