exhibited at the Houston Fat Stock Show by Bobby Schuman
of De Leon, above, was cold at the show auction for 48c per
pound. The steer, bred by Blackwell Brothers of Oornian, weigh-
ed 920 pound3, and had previously won sixth prize In the Co-
manche County shdw. High bidder was Joe A. Haegelin, farm
and ranch representative lor Humble Oil & Refining Company.
Bobby Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Schuman. He is in the
11th grade in De Leon High School and is a member of the
local FFA chapter.
