STRENGTHENING RURAL
, SCHOOLS TO BE DISCUSSED
Fort Worth, Texas, Sept. 21—
What Texas should do to strengthen
rural schools will be fully discussed
when teachers of the state -hold their
annual convention in Dallas Nov. 26,
27, and 28. The Rural School Section
of the Association, of which Burl
Bryant of Wichita county i« presi-
dent, has completed Ita program for
the occasion. Bryant is urging all
rural teachers of the state td enroll
in the Association and to be in Dallas
for their speeial saaalon.
A. F. Harman, superintendent of
Montgomery ... county, Alabama,
schools, will direct the discussion
hour in this session and will make
the principal adddress. He is recog-
nised as one of the leading experts
of America in rural school adminis-
tration. Following his address Sup-
erintendent S. M. N. Marrs of the
Texas public schools will outline the
high school program % for rural
schools.' H. L. Goerner, superinten-
(Much. dent of Dallas county schools, wjll

ever, is covered by the general stat-
ute, and our department is not char-
ged with ita enforcement.
“As has always been the case, one
may not hunt outaide of the county
of residence unless he has -with hit*
hunting license. He may not hunt
anyth|ng—rabbits or other non-game
animate or birds or game birds, or
animals in season. The fact that »
is oat in the woods and carrying a
gun has long been considered prims
facie evidence that he is angaged in
hunting.”
; The section of the law to which
Mr. Hubby refentod declares that it
is unlawful for “any peteon at any
tim« and in any manner to hunt, take
capture or kill or attempt to hunt,
game birds, wild fowl, or wild game
animals protected by the laws of
this state, from an automobile, an
airplane, a power boat, a sailboat,
any boat under sail or. any floating
device towed by power or- sailboat,”
the penalty for so doing being a min-
imum fine of $26. -■

Comanche Folks Should Find the
Cause and Correct It
Are you all worn out? Feel tired,
nervous, half-sick? Do you have a
constant backache; sharp twinf?*1-- of
pain, too, with dirty »P«11* •n<1 an‘
noylng urinary disorders? Then
there’s cause for worry and more
cause to give your weakened kidneys
prompt help. Use Doan’s PH1»—a
stimulant diuretic to the kidneys.
Comanche folk* recommend Doan’s
for Just such troubles. ■ ,
Mrs. W. B. Payne, Oomanche,
says: “I suffered with my kidneys
aeting too often and I had bearing
down pains in my hips and loins.
Sharp pains seised me in my back
when I stooped to lift and I became
so dixsy and nervous, I could hardly
do my hous* work. I felt weak and
worn out, too. After, .using Doan’s
Pills, I was cured. I gladly confirm
the statement I gave in 1919 In
praise of Doan’s. My cure has last-
ed.”
