Something New for Women
Who Sew at Home!
It will mean less time in the Sewing Room and more time for the thous-
and and one things about the house. And it will be a blessed saving on
your patience, for it took half your time, in the old way, to figure how
to follow your Pattern.

The New McCall Pattern—It’s Printed!
Where you used to proceed by perforations, there are now printed lines, which tell
you in words what to do. In fact, all instructions for cutting and making are
printed on each part of the pattern:
—The straight of the goods by an arrow.
_Front marked “Front,” and so on for each part.
_The “center back” indicates where to “place on fold.”
—Parts are joined by numbers that correspond.
But this is not all—there are other important improvements that make
the New McCall Pattern the efficient, the safe, the sure Pattern for
modern dressmakers.
McCall Patterns also offer Style Supreme

All motor cars may, with one exception, be
divided into two classes.
There is the class of cars built to a price, and
there is the class built regardless of price.
In the first, quality is sacrificed;—in the sec-
ond, value.
The exception referred to is the Hupmobile,
—a car which any experienced, independent
garage mechanic will tell you is as finely
built, in all the essentials, as any fine car; and
which is priced so low as to make it, in our
opinion, the greatest motor car value in the
world.
