ed with tall tapers in , candelabra;
Misses* Chrystal Mae Kerby, cousin
•of the bride, 'and Patsy Sherwood
of-Wichita Falls, lighted the. candles.
The couple entered the room un-
attended. Mrs. Roy' £»ibson played
the wedding march and she also pro-
vided piano music during the cere-
mony.
The bride,* a daughter of Mr. and
Mrs P. J.. Weaver, wore a pnk jer-
sey suit, a blue blouse and white
accessories. Her corsage was of
gardenias. She was reared here
and is employed with the Foxworth-
Galbraith Lumber Company. The
groom, a son of Mrs. Edna Rapp
and the late Albert E. Rapp, is man-
ager of the Texas Torpedo Company
here.
Refreshments were served follow-
ing the ceremony, after which the
newlyweds left'for a wedding trip to
Presidio, points in Old Mexico and
to Carlsbad Cavern. They- will re-
side at 505 South Wilbarger street.
The dining room was decorated
wth spring' flowers. The- laced cov-
ered table was Highlighted with an
arrangement of roses and snapdrag-
on, while the wedding cake with
streamers of pink, satin was the
center of interest. The table service
was in crystal and silver. Miss
Chrystal Mae Kerby served punch
and Mrs. Stewart Lee Weaver of
Nocona, sisterinlaw of the bride,
served __ the cake.
Guests included only the members
of the families • and close1 friends.
The group included Mr, and Mrs. P.
J. Weaver, Mrs, Edna Rapp, Mr. and
Mrs. A. S. Kerby, Miss Kerby, Miss
Patsy Sherwood of Wichita Falls,
Mrs. Stewart Lee Weaver of No-
cona, Mrs. J. E. Cooper, Mr. and Mrs.
Joe Matthews, Miss Betty Matthews,
Ben Walker of Goose Creek and
Mrs. Roy Gibson.

progress* at the Fundamental Bap
tist Church, and will continue
through Sunday night. Increased in-
terest is being manifest and crowds
are increasing. The Word of God
is preached in simplicity and full-
ness, and the singing is thrilling the
hearts of all who attend. Ray C.
Morrow, pastor ,is doing the preach
ing, and'C.'J. Hansen is leading the

Mrs. L. D. Slaton of, Houston was
guest of Mrs. J. W. Youree and fam-
ily. She has been at the bedside of
her son, Robert Staton, who is a
patient in the Veterans’ Hospital at
Amarillo. Mr. Staton, formerly a
sergeant in the Army Air Force and
holder of numerous awards earned
as a gunner with the AAF in Italy,
is suffering from arthritis and rheu-
matism, Mrs. Staton reports
