Fortunately, Behr of America's air conditioning parts can
be substituted for the VPC units , providing a bullet-proof
installation. The air conditioning compressor bracket bolts
solidly to the rear engine mount and the intake manifold.
Additionally, the bracket provides ease of removal of the AC for
engine service and a substantially better means of tensioning
the AC belt.
Behr of America also manufacturers a crankshaft pulley that
weighs less than two pounds.
Finally, Porsche makes a bolt (part number Nl4.336.1) for
the 914 fly wheel, that is self locking and substantially stronger
to hold the AC pulley to the crank.

PRESENTS
8 HOUR BASIC AUTOCROSS
A course designed for the beginning autocrosser.
Emphasis is placed on squeezing every ounce out of
the driver-car combination. Techniques are taught
that can be practiced while driving under normal
highway conditions, not just at events.
16 HOUR ADVANCED AUTOCROSS
An advanced course dealing in "How and Why"
techniques. This is not a course for the uninitiated.
Heavy emphasis is placed on two positions . . .
winning, and everybody else. We teach you how to
win. You'll be mentally and physically wrung out
after two hard days, but you'll understand what true
competition is about, and why winning is the
ultimate.
(NOTE: All courses consist of approximately
1/3 classroom, and 2/3 driving).
