Another^ big house was out last
night at the Airdome. Many.left the
playhouse voting “The • Girl of the
Golden West” the' best play yet given
by Russell's Merry Makers. It appeal-
ed strongly to lovers of western plays,
and is without doubt one of the
strongest stories of this character
seen here in many; years. Miss Re-
voire as “the girl” won many new
admirers. Bert L. Russell as Luke
Short, the sheriff, was great. Earl
Guthrie introduced a quaint character
in Bat Smith and kept his audience in
roars of laughter. Tonight this com-
pany will present “The Toiler, the
Man God Forget,” said by competent
crincs to be Mr. Russell’s best effort.

THE FORCE OF SUASION.
We have just read an editorial in' a
North Texas paper where the paper
complained that a leading advertiser
had withdrawn his business from the
columns of the paper because of some
editorial expression. We have never
run up on such a proposition, and do
not believe such incidents are very
frequent. Of course a business man
has a right to stop his patronage at
any time he sees proper, but it has
been our good fortunq not to have yet
