He came down in an automobile,
though tie doean’t own one, and
doesn’t like to ride In them, and
on the way threatened to get oat
and walk unless the driver struck
a more moderate speed.
He was bareheaded and the
Mirror man asked him II he had
lost his hat speeding. '
“No,” he said, “I haven’t had
one in ten years and never ex-
pect to wear one agaiu.”
He said during the very pleas
ant conversation that we listened
to that he was a brother of O. H.
Morris, of Winnsboro, who ran
against Ferguson for governor.
While in the banking business
he has lost over three hundred
thousand dollars, but he doesn’t
worry. He laughs at his debtors
and tells them he forgives them,
and hopes the Lord will, that if
they can best him and get to
heaven lie hopes to meet them
there, and Drays for them that
(iespitefully abuse his confidence.
He is a shouting Methodist,
and almost breaks up some of
the big meetings with his enthu-
siasm, contributes liberally to
the support of the churches and
helps to. build them, generally
furnishing what the congrega
tion lacks in raising the neces
sary amount for construction.
His bank is a one man institu
tion, unincorporated, and he runs
it; runs it without stockholders,
directors, without clerks or help
of any kind, sweeps it out, makes
the tires, and tills all the posi
tions in it.

Delco-Ligbt was specified by the Government because
it is dependable, efficient, simple to operate,—requires
little attention, and because it is AIR-COOLED.

The result of Government tests and the satisfactory
use of Delco-Light on over 60,000 farms are your as-
surance that Delco-Light will give you the same de-
pendable service.
It betters living conditions,—increases farm efficiency,
and soon pays for itself in time and labor saved.

He works
his garden and orchard and looks
after his stock four horn s before
banking hours. Always holds
family prayers before starting
work. Hasn’t lost his temper in
twenty years, and never expects
to lose it again. Doesn’t drink
coffee, never touched liquor, nev-
er smoked or chewed, never saw
a picture show, and never had an
invitation to a ball.
He has lost 5300,000 in the
banking business, but has made
a good deal in the business, car-

so we are told by one of his
friends.—Gilmer Mirror.

Every druggist in town—your
druggist and everybody’s druggist
has noticed a great falling-off in the
sale of calomel. They all give the
same reason. Dodson’s Liver Tone
is taking its place.
“Calomel is dangerous and people
know it, while Dodson’s Liver Tone
is perfectly safe and gives better re-
sults,” said a prominent local drug-
gist. Dodson’s Liver Tone is per-
sonally guaranteed by every drug-
gist who sells it. A large bottle
costs but a few cents, and if it fails to
give easy relief in every ease of liver
sluggishness and constipation, you
have only to ask for your money;

Dodson’s Liver Tone is a pleasant-
tasting, purely vegetable remedy,
harmless to both children and adults.

headache, acid stomach or consti-
pated bowels. It doesn’t gripe or
cause inconvenience all the next
day like violent calomel.
