completion of three
women's sports the Women's
Recreation Association holds
first in women's intramural
with 133.5 points.
WRA has taken first in
volleyball tennis singles and
badminton singles and doubles
which includes every sport

Tennis added 25 points to their
total and badminton singles gave
them 29 more points. Badmln-

overall points with 95.5 earning
57 from volleyball 20.5 in
tennis and 20 in badmlnston
singles. Third place Is held by

teams were: ASU 21; Wayland

tournaments they have played in.
The bright spots of the fall
have been the Tarleton tourna-
ment and two low team scores
of 284 and 285. In the Tarleton
tournament the Wildcats placed
second to perennial power Texas
Wesleyan.
They placed second to
Hardin-Simmons in their first
match as they set a school
record of 284. In a match at
Texas Western the Cats finished
second with 285 as their hosts
sizzled at 278.
Coach Terry Priest also
start zone tournament
downing Odessa 15-7 15-5. Dr.
Joyce Curtis women's athletic
director said Odessa wasn't
playing as well as they had the
week before.
Monday night the Wlldkittens
lost a hard match to Hardin-
Simmons 914 and 1214. Dr.
Curtis said the Kittens' "serving
was atrocious" adding "floor
coverage was a little bit shaky
we didnt move good on the
floor." She commended Suo
Jane Sullivan and JoAnn Kcyes
'for playing their usual good
game getting good sets in.
Today at 2:30 p.m. ACC will
meet West Texas State Univer-
sity in their first zone game. Tho
Kittens havo won two out of
three matches against WTSU this
season.
The tournament will be
double elimination meaning
teams have to lose twice to be
eliminated. If ACC wins they

Kinsmen win badminton

Kinsmen swept the Intramural
badminton championship as
Dick Kirkpatrick and the Kins-
men doubles team swept
through the tournament
undefeated.
The tournament was scored
by a point system in which first
singles equaled two points
second singles one-point and

match a team had to win either
of tho singles and the doubles or
both singles.
Tho Kinsmen team consisted
of two singles teams Kirkpatrick
