In an admittedly partisan
' address Hutchison said the
differences between President

Although Carter and his running
mate Sen. Walter Mondalc may
have no ill feelings toward
Texas Hutchison said "they
would destroy the underflber of
the state."
In the area of defense
Hutchison said Sen. Mondale
favors decreasing the defense
budget which would affect air
force bases within the state and
he is for depletion allowances
for natural gas.
The Carter ticket also sup-

Earlier in his presentation
Hutchison said church institu-
