“It was- grand,’’ “Enjoyed it
ever so much,” and many similar
expressions were heard passing
trom the lips ot the throng ot
people as they were leaving Tur-
ner hall last night after the per-
formance of Charles B. Hanford’s
production entitled “The Taming
of the Shrew/’ Both parquet and
gallery were almost filled to their
utmost seating capacity and it is
estimated that between 500^ and
600 people were present.
Charles B. Hanford asPetrucblo
and Miss Drofqah as Katherine,
the scold, were exceptionally fine,
font we will relrain from giving
any an especial mention as all
filled their roles to perfection, the
main drawback being that the
stage was entirely too small, which
prevented them from nsing any
of.their scenery. The company
expressed itself as being well
pleased at being greeted “by s»cb
a large audience and paid Cuero
and its people many compliments
and it hoped to again be able to
visit Cuero next season.

I’ve another case of biliousness.
“Take anything?”
“Yes; some pills, bat no results; sup-
pose I’m getting ironclad. Sometimes I
double the dose, thea they physic me so
hard I’m too weak to work. Think I'll
have to try something new.”
“Ever try Prickly Ash Bitters?”
“No; I’ve heard a good deal about it,
but never tried it.”
“Well, you’ll be pleased with the re-
sults.”
The purgative action of Prickly Ash
Bitters not only removes .hard impac-
tions, gas and impurities, but it strength-
ens the muscular action of the bowels
which causes them to move regularly.
Prickly Ash Bitters is a bowel toniC
and regulator in the truest sense. It
promotes daily evacuations^ establishes
healthy movements and is the best
known remedy for disordered digestion,
flatulence and a constipated habit.
D. M. Blackweider, of Litchfield, 111., saysia
the Litchft*Id Ncas: “I am perfectly willing, in
fact glad to testify to the value of PricktyAsh
Bitters as a medicine for the kidneys, stomach
and bowels. I have used it whenever I needed
anything of the kind for the last fifteen years
and it ha^always given satisfaction.”
