Train Wreck Near Victoria.
A broken rail caused the rear
coach of the incoming passenger
train from Houston last night to
leave the track about a mile fro*
this city, the; car running along-
side the track for a distance of two
blocks without overturning before
the train was stopped. There were
about eight passengers in it, but
none were injured. The track was
torn up for a short distance. The
passengers were transferred to the
smoker and the train reached here
after half an hour’s delay.—Victo
rla Advocate.
