Ra-
venna church, followed by a splendid
welcome by Mrs. J. E. Kimbrough,
president of the Ravenna auxiliary.
The business was transacted, reports
given from ull auxiliaries present, and
White Rock receiving the banner for
the largest number of subscribers to
"Our Voice," every member being
subscriber.
The noon Bible hour was conducted
both days by Miss Lelia Roberts, re-
turned missionary from Mexico. Any
one that has heard Miss Roberts must
confess that her superior cannot be
found in expounding the gospel, und
she gets so close to Christ that she
brings Him close to us. Her service
closed with an old-time Methodist
handshake. One of the most notice-
able features was the prevailing spir-
ituality.
The evening service wus one long
to be remembered. After u most
tamest sermon by Rev. C. C. Young,
that made one feel his responsibility,
not only for souls in our midst, but
even to the utmost parts of the earth,
he railed for volunteers for special
work, when one young ludy respond-
ed. If nothing more comes from our
meeting, by this alone we are amply
paid for our efforts.
Before partaking of the Lord’s Sup-
per, Brother Young presented a beau-
tiful silver communion service from
the Bonham auxiliary to the Ravenna
(Lurch, which wus greutly appreciat-
ed.
Our two conference officers being
present were Mrs, Frank Bennett, who
loves and lives for the finances of
tKe North Texas Conference—no one
understands all the workings of the
Conference any better than she; ami
Mrs. Scott Fulton, who presented the
oiganixed Bible and Mission study,
which she recognizes ns the inspira-
tion of ull mission work. After you
hear her you feel that an organization
is terribly crippled without the basis
Mission study.
Each one on the program did hue
part to make this meeting a great
success, and would like to mention ev-|
ery one specifically but for luck of
space.
The Ravenna ladies served u splen-
did lunch in the church both days,
which carried out the social feature.
This will go down in memory as ore
of the most successful gatherings in
the Bonham District, and we arc sure
ti see results from this great meeting.
Mrs. Gus Hteger,
District Secretary.
her friends. Hhe wrote:

Ten years ago a friend told me to try

I keep Black-Draught on hand all the

does them more good than any medicine
they ever tried.
We never have a long spell of sick-
