Chicago. Jan. 28.—The poliic have recovered .$7,800. said to
have been a part of the $15,816 taken by bandits from the
Washington Park National Bank yesterday, in a raid on a West
Side rooming house. Five men and three women have been ar-
rested. The money was in a box and on being thrown out of
a window was recovered by a newsboy. Two of the bandits
broke away from the police on their way from police headquar
VI'jters to the office of the state's attorney, hut were recaptured.
Bank officials have identified the suspects.
