A Woman from Quebeo has come
upon the scene and claimed the
child, said to have been kidnaped
by a man named Carrel!, and held
in Fort Wfpb. The man still
contends that it is his child and
will not release him. The little

Col. F. B. Baillio died st his
home in Cleburne Wednesday after
an illness of several months. He
was prominent in newspaper cir-
cles and was greatly missed from
the nicest meeting of the Press
Association of which he was once
president. Of late years he trav-
eled fora paper house and wes
held in bi$h esteem by every
her of the craft.
Married Wednesday night at
the home of the bride’s upcle, Mr.
Frank Baker, Mr. Dale McSpad-
den aud Miss Madee Baker.
These young people have lived
around and in Savoy all their
lives and are well and favorably
koown by all of us. Dale is the
ydtiQgest sou of Mr. and Mrs. T.
W. McSpadden. and Miss Madee
is the oldest daughter of W. W.
Baker Evangelist Warren E.
Starnes performed the ceremony.
This young couple has the
bast wishes, of The Star force
on through life. May they live
long and prosper. We understand
they have their furniture ready to
begin housekeeping, and will live
on Mr. McSpadden’s farm.
