There is no question any more as to
tho phenomenal success of. tho '17

on tho faces of. tho students buried bo-
hind thoso imposing black leather

thus; occupied readily testify to tho
"thing that A. C and Walter have
done.'' and besides Miss Breedlove
says "It 1s fine" nothing more needs
to be said.

rral states that "tho Corral is tho best
yet." Tho Corral went to press last
Wednesday and will be out soon. Tho
success of the Corral this year is in
accordance with tho standards attain-
ed by tho other publications of tho

will be the best published.
Mr. Hull after his return from Arka-
delphla stated that ho left the two
Simmons Debaters "In the hands of
several young ladles" (7) Nevertheless
Mr. Hodges seems to have been faV
from neglecting his interests here.
For instance the various reports con-
ornlng tho regular 3-hour letter-writing
schedule. Also the G. I H. girls
Bay that a long box was delivered to
G. I.H. last week on which was the
following bold and suspicious instruc-
tions: "Don't crush Miss Myra

This series has started off with the
most favorable results and undoubted-
ly will end with the greatest success.
Much credit is duo Miss Stamper head
of tho Domestic Economy Department
Who has so untiringly instructed the

efficient to-be-housekeepers going out

of tho outer-garden. Good pitching
fast fielding and hard hitting enabled
Simmons to win thirteen out of the
sixteen college games played. Seven
out of tho sixteen wore shut-out games
and only ' two team's mado over two
scores against tho "CowboyB" in ono
game. Simmons feels that this is a
record to bo justly proud of. Had It
not been that tho war caused some of
tho scheduled games to be called off
the.' "CowboyB'' would have ranked
among tho best college teams In the
state if not the best.
