As this field graduates its thirteenth
class of Aviation Cadets, class 44-B,
next Tuesday, February 3th, tribute will
be paid to those members of the class
who are following in the footsteps of
brothers who are already flying officers
of the Army Air Forces.
Colo Bundy pointed out that such a trib-
ute is indicative of how far the United
States has come in the building of a
huge air force in little more than a
year0
’’When we graduated our first class of
combat pilots little more ~tharr a year
ago, the new flying officers were almost
invariably the sole representatives of
their families in the Array Air Forces,”
Colo Bundy said0 ’’Among those men who
will graduate as flying officers from
this field next Tuesday, are several
whose brothers are officers of the Army
Air Forces fighting on the various bat-
tle fronts of the world o1*
Principal speaker for the graduation
will be Lte CoL. J*H0 Lapham* Personnel
Section, AAFCFTS, Randolph Field, Texas,
whose nephew, A/C Donald L. Mygatt, will
graduate with class 44~B.
An aerial review, including exhibitions
of bombat maneuvers, will precede the
graduation exercises if weather permits0
