Galveston, August 20.—The storm dead are now supposed
fo exceed 200. There are 101 known dead, and 150 are known
In he missing. The properly lo^s in (he entire storm district is
estimated to be $50,(010,000.
Several small boats and their crews are still missing. The
steamships El Siglo. El Valle. Concho, Beatrice and Glenhridgc.
believed to have been lost on the Gulf, have arrived safely. The
steamers llawkhead. Ealon flail and Harledon are ashore.
The interned Austrian steamer Mora wit/ saved 100 of the
Bolivar Point refugees before going aground.
A flat car loaded with twenty-five bodies has been brought
{into the city from down the island. Bodies are being constantly
cast up by the waves. Only eight bodies have been found in the
city. A girl sixteen years old was found on the lower beach, and
afterward revived. She had been carried from Velasco by the
1 storm.
